Vose Library - a resource centre for Christians in Perth
As part of Vose Seminary in Bentley, the Vose Library is funded by the Baptist Churches of Western Australia. It is Perth's biggest Christian library with 38 000 books and 220 journal titles. Members also have access to many full text articles online from home through the journals databases.
Whether you're a Christian who wants to find out more about your faith, a pastor who wants resources for preaching and leading or a theological student who needs more books, you're invited to join Vose Library.
Membership
Membership costs $30 for six months or $50 for twelve months. (Students receive a 10% discount.)
You are welcome to browse the library without taking out membership. Membership allows you to borrow twenty items for three weeks and gain access to our journals database as well as wireless internet access within the library.
Highlights of the library
Books on every aspect of the Christian faith, from thousands of commentaries to books on prayer, prophecy, parenting and preaching. There are hundreds of Christian biographies and whole sections on every important, controversial or interesting issue that you want to investigate.- Popular collection - bringing together the best books you can enjoy without studying theology.
- Hundreds of journals, including popular titles like Alive, Christianity Today and The Briefing.
- DVDs - this year Vose Library has introduced a growing collection of Christian DVDs for ministry, education and entertainment. To see our collection, do a subject search for 'DVD' on the catalogue.
Leadership collection - created to support the work of Vose Leadership, it brings together books on leadership pastoring and church trends. - NEW - a perpetual booksale in the library lounge, offering you quality secondhand books in Old Testament, New Testament, theology, church history, Christian living and ministry.
